I bought Pro and it is not showing
Open Settings inside Moments and tap Restore purchases. Pro is tied to the Apple Account that bought it, so make sure the phone is signed in to that one. We hold no record of your purchase ourselves, by design, so Apple’s copy is the only copy and restoring is always the fix.
The app closed while I was filming and I lost my scenes
You almost certainly did not. Moments writes each scene to disk in short fragments while it records, so an interrupted session is recoverable. Reopen the app and it will offer to continue the video. If a scene was mid-recording when the app stopped, the part that had already been written is kept.
It trimmed something I wanted
On the result screen, tap the line showing the length and scene count, and Moments will show you every trim it made and why. Press Put it back on any of them. The video gets longer to make room and no other scene is shortened to pay for it.
It dropped a whole scene
That only happens on a hard floor: a shot too dark to use, a smudged lens, or less than half a second of usable footage. The reason is always named in the same list, and it can always be put back.
Can I use my own music?
Not in this version. The catalog contains tracks selected for publishing videos with music included. Music from your library may have different usage rights.
Export is slow or the phone is warm
Long sessions with many scenes take longer, and Moments deliberately eases off when the phone gets hot rather than pushing through. You can leave the app while it renders; it keeps going and tells you when it is done.

What does Moments actually do?
Moments is an iPhone camera that edits your scenes to music. Record, pause, and record again. Choose a track and press Finish. Moments analyzes your footage on your phone and places the scenes on the music’s beat grid, without a timeline to arrange.
Does my footage leave my phone?
Your footage is analyzed and edited on your iPhone. There is no Moments account and no footage upload. You choose when to save or share the finished video.
Will it change the order of my day?
Never. Your scenes stay in the order you filmed them. Moments can shorten a scene or leave out unusable footage, and it explains its trims. You can put a moment back without taking time away from another scene.
What comes with the free app?
The camera, automatic editing, cut styles, length options, and exports up to 1080p. You get three music tracks and a short Moments end card. Moments Pro unlocks all 60 tracks and removes the end card for a one-time US$9.99 purchase. Local prices may vary.
Which iPhones can use Moments?
Moments requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Export resolution is up to 1080p; the app can reduce it when the device needs to cool down. Check the App Store for current compatibility and availability.
